I'm really mad and pissed off that Hollywood has made a fortune cashing in on the resurging trends of vampires and other other-worldly entities. Check the TV listings and your bound to find something that discusses and tackles the topic of vampires.
There may have been tons of essays similar to my blog regarding this particular question but I just wanted to ask. Who would win in a fight? HObviously theres the TWILIGHT series (that seriously sucks, no pun intended)

Then theres also the slowly rising TRUE BLOOD

(Although if I were a werewolf, I would not even attempt to harm the very beautiful Anna Pacquin)
As for werewolves, there's currently an upcoming wolfman movie starring Benecio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins.

And also the almost epic essay-ish appearance of Jacob Black's wolf pack in the NEW MOON adaptation

So heres my bet. At a standard setting, I am siding with the Vampires. Vampires strike people as cunning, devious and can back up their claims to supremacy with their enhanced strength, sight and senses. They can also fly (in some cases). Meanwhile, a basic Lycantrope charges in without any strategy whatsoever. They are also gifted with enhanced senses and viciousness that are legendary.
Both monsters are hard to take down. In a group setting, werewolves can do much more damage. While not needing any guided instructions which may drop hints for their fanged opponents, werewolves can cut loose tremendously but still show semblance of a group dynamics. Think of a pride of lioness taking out a buffalo or a zebra. Thats how effective werewolves are. The ability to charge in also gives them a slight edge. All thanks to the unpredictability that they bring into the play. So for me, on the single matches, it would have to be vampires but in a big, group type of thing, the werewolves feast.
