I have found a lot of really useful information on your site and I want to extend you a thank you for being so open about your lifestyle and your beliefs. The more I research, I feel that the vampire has been wronged by Hollywood and much of the mainstream media. With things like Buffy the vampire slayer and the Twilight series, the vampire community seems to be a bit displeased in the way that they are being projected. i completely understand why. I also sense that there are a lot of wrong stereotypes about vampires and a fear within your community of not being accepted by society in large. I personally believe that it is wrong for people who practice their beliefs like you to be regarded poorly by society. You are not "freaks" or "diseases" to society, and you are not someone to be paraded around as such. You are real people. As a photodocumentarian, i always strive to promote cultural unity and awareness through my photos. Nobody has ever really taken a visual look into the life of a true sanguinarian, and I was hoping that if I did a photographic essay of what life is as a sanguinarian, that people will come closer to understanding the vampire community and the truth about modern-day vampires. I know you do not turn into bats and wage wars on werewolves, I’m not interested in trying to convey anything more than what actually exists. As a photographer, I have done a lot of work in third world countries to promote cultural awareness and promote humanitarianism. Please feel free to view my work at www.tylercacek.com I was wondering if there was anyone open to me coming and visiting them sometime in the coming months to produce a photo essay about your life as a modern sanguinarian. Basically, this would be as non-invasive as possible and would only be attempted at your approval. I know people generally don’t like cameras pointed at them, and I try to be very sensitive. Furthermore, I would be at your mercy in terms of what you are okay with me publishing and what you are not. In my "projects" folder of my website, you will see several photo essays similar to what I would like to do for you. Please send me an email at tyler.a.cacek@gmail.com. i am arranging for the vampire project to be published in book and online format with the permission of the individuals in the photographs. please let me know your thoughts on this. I sincerely appreciate your time and hope to hear from you soon. If you find it more convenient, i am also contactable via phone at 573.356.7861. best regards, -Tyler Cacek tyler.a.cacek@gmail.com www.tylercacek.com 573.356.7861
